As of April 20, Luke has the Force again. He's no Jedi master, but he can do certain things and I'd love permissions to know what he can do with your muses.

1. Player:

2. Characters:

3. Luke is empathic. He can sense strong emotions (especially Dark ones), how healthy someone is (sort of, more like healthy, sick, pain, dying) and, not to put too fine a point on it, how evil someone is. May he do these things to your character? tl;dr Emotions, health, evil radar.

4. With close proximity or emotional closeness, Luke can project his thoughts to people. Is that okay is relevant?

5. He is telekinetic. I don't see him trying to move people without asking but I guess it might happen?

6. Jedi Mind Trick: Trope namer. He can suggest things, assuming your character is not opposed to or endangered by the suggestion. Is that okay?

7. ANIMALS/PETS/DROIDS?: Generally, these things like Jedi. Will any relevant, associated creatures be affected by this?

1. Lel

2. Will Stanton and Conan Edogawa

3. This is fine with me. As for good evil sensing, Will is technically a piece of the Light force of his universe that was born as a human. Its implied a few times that hes not actually capable of being corrupted by darkness, because of the nature of what he is. Its also implied that his true form is a pillar of light. A character with seer abilities saw him as this once.

Conan, on the other hand, is just human. He's very dedicated to ideals of justice and preserving life, but not above doing technically illegal things in pursuit of those goals.

4. Perfectly alright. Will will think its interesting. Conan is a skeptic who finds the idea of esp like abilities personally offensive, but I'm all for making him deal with it.

5. Sure.

6. Not sure how something like that would work on Will, but willing to plot.

7. No pets.

Any typos on this are the result of typing on my phone.

1. Alishia

2. Bruce Banner, Dylan Rhodes, John Druitt and I'seth

3. Bruce will always register a mild to moderate sense of anger, underneath whatever else it is he's feeling. Despite that, though, he doesn't come off as evil -- if anything quite the opposite. (If you're familiar with D&D rules, he's Chaotic Good.) The same goes for the Hulk, though the sense of anger is prevalent, with whatever else being the undercurrent. He might register as sick, too, if only because his blood is radioactive, but it's up to you, if you think Luke would pick up on that / read it that way / what have you.

Dylan lies about, oh, everything. He's developed something of a mental shield, though, since magical telepathy is a thing in his world, but they're not the best. Luke could probably still sense that he's lying, most of the time, just maybe not the severity of the lie. Despite that, though, Dylan, like Bruce, probably reads as mostly good. He has his moments, but everyone does. And again, in D&D terms, he'd be Neutral Good. He's in fine health and I wouldn't be opposed to Luke being able to sense his magic -- or at least that he's something other than just baseline human.

Druitt, I will skip because we talked about this.

I'seth registers as good, despite her somewhat monsterous appearance (Chaotic Good), isn't sick in any way, and has no defenses against psychic abilities, so ... empath away. She also probably registers as lying a lot, too, but not with malicious intent. If she lies, she's doing it for a very good reason, both in a moral sense and otherwise.

4. Yes on all counts. Dylan might even answer back, even without his own telepathy, if Luke can recieve as well as transmit (my memory of Star Wars is a little fuzzy; it's been awhile), since he's used to having wordless conversations.

5. Again yes to all, though you might want to not shove the Enormous Green Rage Monster ...

6. As far as Bruce goes, as himself, yeah, sure -- as far as the Hulk goes, whatever Luke suggests will probably only stick for a minute or two, and then the Hulk will realize he's being manipulated and be Not Happy. Dylan will probably try and fight the suggestion and lose, since again, he has a kind of minor resistance against mind control, but it's not the greatest. Druitt, skipping. I'seth, yes unconditionally.

7. I'seth is literally part snake, so ... she'll probably warm up to Luke pretty quick, whether she means to or not? The Hulk might, too, if only because, while not an animal, he's kind of ... part-wild animal, part Bruce's ID, part small child, mentally, so. Also, Bruce has a maybe foot-tall mini-Iron Man robot named Spot that follows him around and likes poking people. And nothing applies for the other two.

Hopefully, this all works for you? If you need clarification on anything or whatever, let me know?

1. Player: Emma

2. Characters: Amelia Pond, Aurora, Clem Darling, Henley Reeves, Kali, Piper McLean

3. Luke is empathic. He can sense strong emotions (especially Dark ones), how healthy someone is (sort of, more like healthy, sick, pain, dying) and, not to put too fine a point on it, how evil someone is. May he do these things to your character? tl;dr Emotions, health, evil radar.
  • Hell yes. Anything in the prose of brackets is fair game or if I think of something I will flail at you via plurk probs. Big ones: Amy is pregnant, Clem is a fairy, Kali is genetically engineered with DNA that is part feline, and Piper is a v good demigod.

    4. With close proximity or emotional closeness, Luke can project his thoughts to people. Is that okay if relevant?
  • Bring it on, son.

    5. He is telekinetic. I don't see him trying to move people without asking but I guess it might happen?
  • Ditto with the bring it.

    6. Jedi Mind Trick: Trope namer. He can suggest things, assuming your character is not opposed to or endangered by the suggestion. Is that okay?
  • Yes on all counts. Except Piper has a similar power so she will recognize it and fight back, which would be awesome. SO GO FOR IT ANYWAY.

    7. ANIMALS/PETS/DROIDS?: Generally, these things like Jedi. Will any relevant, associated creatures be affected by this?
  • Henley has a pet bunny, Kali has a kitten, Aurora has a puppy. And Piper has........... a dragon. :D Festus will like Luke tho.

    2. Characters: You know them all. even the hidden ones no one else knows. :D

    3. Feel free with all of mine. Obvs Vex identifies as dark, Peter has been that way but waivers now, I think you know most of my canons, or ping me and ask.

    4. Yep! Definitely. Vex will love this :D Noooot.

    5. You always have free reign with my muses.

    6. Sure.

    7. There's Erica, and she'll love him, as does Alexis. How do you see this with weres who have a full shift? Thinking Peter here. Poke me about this.

    1. Player: Lae

    2. Characters: Charles Xavier

Once Charles realizes Luke is psi sensitive, he'll probably shield his emotional state when around him. Health, Luke could still pick up on!

    4. With close proximity or emotional closeness, Luke can project his thoughts to people. Is that okay is relevant? Again, once he realizes Luke is psi sensitive Charles would shield but Luke is welcome to 'knock' for permission to talk this way!

    5. He is telekinetic. I don't see him trying to move people without asking but I guess it might happen? Go for it.

    6. Jedi Mind Trick: Trope namer. He can suggest things, assuming your character is not opposed to or endangered by the suggestion. Is that okay? No. Since Charles does this himself (and is a hypocrite from time to time) he would definitely recognize an intrusion like this and shield against it.

    7. ANIMALS/PETS/DROIDS?: Generally, these things like Jedi. Will any relevant, associated creatures be affected by this? Nothing I can think of!

    4. Projected thoughts: Yes.

    5. Telekinesis: Yep

    6. Jedi Mind Trick: Yes. Oh man this would work on her so well. SO WELL.

    4. Yes to all three. Expect Leonard to be the most freaked out.
    5. Yes, I can see this if he's trying to save or protect them.
    6. I actually think all three of mine are so strong willed that it wouldn't work. It only works on the weak minded, so no for this.

    2. Characters: Tony Stark, Jack Wilder, Erin Williams

    3. Emotions/health/evil radar: Absolutely. Tony might register oddly to him on the health thing, considering he's technically always super close to dying, thanks to the creeping shrapnel in his chest and the reactor. I'm not sure how, but I've had that be a thing in other situations.

Jack is good, but he's also kind of shady about certain things. Hooray being a thief/hustler on top of his slightly more legitimate stuff.

Otherwise, I'll try to give you stuff in prose/brackets, or I'm always available on Plurk.

    4. Thought projection Yep. Erin is telepathic, so she's likely to maybe get super-excited about someone else being telepathic, fair warning. :p

    5. Mind bullets Telekinesis. Go for it.

    6. Jedi Mind Trick Yep.

    7. ANIMALS/PETS/DROIDS?: He can come poke at Dum-E and U. They're definitely droids and might as well be pets. (Given, they also like everyone, but....)

  • Yuna | [personal profile] seahibiscus

  • 3. Absolutely. They're all relatively good people and empathically they are all open books. Yuna is the kind of sickeningly good. Like she's so far on the "good" side that she's been labeled a doormat. Beverly is also very, very far on the good side. Ashley is the morally dubious one. She is generally a good person, but her instinct is to fight, often aiming to seriously injure or even kill if she has to. She is also the literal daughter of her canon's Jack the Ripper and she has his killer instincts. That is the darkness she fights and I am so so so happy to mess around with that at any time. If you'd ever like to do something with that, I am more than willing!

    4. Yes

    1.} Korrin!

2.} Just comics!Black Widow at the moment.

3.} Sure. Let's hash it out beforehand so we're on the same page. If Natalia gets her serum back, like I plan on, she'll almost always be healthy due to its healing factors. And she has quite the bloody past, FYI.

4.} Ooh, yes, that could be fun. Make a note of it in the narrative so I don't accidentally godmod, please?

5.} Go for it. But be prepared for backlash.

    6.} Same as above.

7.} As of 4/20/14, Natalia owns none of the above. Will update as needed.

Has a hella evil identity (her original identity) blocked in her mind so thoroughly that she doesn't even know she's there, whom I'm hesitatingly going to say Luke can faintly pick up on. Her name's Mara.
