With BD-1 never far away, Cal normally feels comfortable sleeping. There is a big difference, of course, between sleeping alone in a bed with someone trusted nearby, and another to be tangled up with someone warm and alive, someone he loves. As they go to sleep, he's thinking he may just wake up refreshed for the first time since he can remember. One brief disturbance in the night makes little difference.
No matter how deep he's sleeping, though, he notices when Luke moves. He mumbles unintelligably, finding Luke's shoulder for an absentminded kiss and stroking a hand over his back, but he doesn't try to keep him put. Instead, he rolls over onto his other side and buries his face in the pillow.
