There are so many things he'd like to say, about time and patience and absence, but with Luke urging him closer like that, none of them seem too important. He goes willingly and, if Luke has no patience anyway, he won't take long with the next finger. After all, it won't have been long for him. Although that actually begs the question which version of their body they actually returned to. How long has it been for Luke's body?

He doesn't add another finger immediately, regardless. But it's also not agonisingly slow, or at least he doesn't intend it to be, when he thrusts that first finger a couple of times. It's still a little tighter than he might have liked when he pushes in the second, and he lifts his head just enough to watch Luke's face.
